Who Has Permission to Tell You You’re Wrong? (Podcast)

What does it really mean to clothe ourselves in humility? It is not about thinking less of ourselves or shrinking back from life. It is about pressing so deeply into God that our confidence comes from that relationship rather than from our own accomplishments. In this conversation, we explore how humility flows naturally from a genuine dependence on God, and how that dependence actually draws others closer to Him as well. We look at Colossians 3 and its call to robe ourselves with the virtues of God, and we discover that humility is not a passive posture but an active, daily choice. From the way we treat the people around us to the way we respond when we have failed someone, humility shows up in the small moments just as much as the large ones. The golden rule gets reframed in a powerful way here: what if instead of simply treating others the way we want to be treated, we treated others the way God treats us? That single shift in perspective has the power to change every relationship we are in.
