Robed or Robbed? (Sermon)
What does it look like to truly wear kindness as a way of life rather than just a polished Sunday manner? Drawing from Colossians 3:12, we explore what it means to robe ourselves with the character of Christ in a world that grows more chaotic and divided by the day. The message is clear: as chaos increases around us, the character of Christ should grow in us. Kindness is not about good manners or opening doors with a smile. It runs far deeper than that. It flows from a heart that has been worked on, tended to, and kept soft before God. We are challenged to ask ourselves an honest question: would we make anyone's kindness list? Not because we need the recognition, but because the way we treat people is a window into the true condition of our hearts. The condition of our hearts will always reveal itself in how we treat the people around us, whether that is a coworker, a stranger, or someone who has hurt us deeply. This is not a message about behavior modification. It is a call to genuine heart transformation.
