It can be expressed through singing, prayer, serving, generosity, obedience, and the way we live each day. Music is one powerful expression of worship, but worship does not begin when the first song starts or end when the music stops. At Church on the Rock, we believe worship is a shared experience. The worship team may lead from the platform, but the congregation is never simply watching. Together, we turn our attention toward Jesus, declare His goodness, and make room for the Holy Spirit to move.
We are not gathering to watch a performance. We are gathering to worship the Lord together.
The COTR Worship Team exists to help create an atmosphere where people can encounter God, respond to His presence, and experience life change. We worship every Sunday morning, every first Wednesday of the month at Deeper Night of Worship, and during our annual 21 Days of Prayer.
Our team includes vocalists, musicians, and worship leaders who serve together with excellence, humility, and spiritual preparation. What happens on the platform is supported by prayer, practice, teamwork, and a genuine desire to serve the church.
We want every worship experience to point people toward Jesus. Not toward us.
