The Wrestle Within (Sermon)

What does it mean to wrestle with God, and why might that struggle actually be a sign of spiritual health rather than spiritual failure? Drawing from the story of Rebecca in Genesis, we explore the idea that the internal wrestles we face, whether over family, purpose, finances, or faith, are not indictments from God but invitations to draw closer to Him. Rebecca, a woman of remarkable capacity and promise, models what it looks like to bring our rawest, most honest questions before God. Her story reminds us that going to God in the middle of confusion is never the wrong move. We are challenged to see our seasons of uncertainty not as evidence that something is broken, but as doorways into deeper communion with the One who holds every answer.
