Revelation That Awakens Worship (Sermon)

What would it look like if, in the middle of our most overwhelming circumstances, we were suddenly invited to see things from a completely different vantage point? That is exactly what happens in Revelation 4, where John, exiled and surrounded by hardship, receives a vision of a throne in heaven and is called to come up and see what God sees. This message challenges us to ask a deeply personal question: where are our eyes right now? Whether we are consumed by fear, comparison, past regrets, or the endless noise of a troubled world, we are reminded that there is a throne that has not moved and a King who never sleeps. Worship, it turns out, is not just something we do on a Sunday morning. It is a direct response to where our gaze is fixed throughout the week. When we train our eyes upward, something in us begins to shift, and what felt impossible to praise through suddenly becomes the very ground of our gratitude.
