What Comes Next (Sermon)

This powerful exploration of Hebrews chapter 10 challenges us to move from understanding to action in our faith journey. After nine chapters establishing why Jesus is better than everything we've known before, we arrive at a pivotal 'therefore' moment. The message centers on three compelling 'let us' statements that transform theology into practical living. First, we're called to draw near to God with honesty, security, and freedom from shame - not just entering the room but knowing we belong there. Second, we're encouraged to hold fast to our hope because He who promised is faithful, recognizing that the enemy's primary tactic is breaking our trust in God's faithfulness. Finally, we're commissioned to stir up one another to love and good works, becoming people who provoke the best in each other rather than gossip or bitterness. This isn't about fixing people but pointing them to the One who can. The summer season becomes an opportunity for relational inventory: Who stirs us toward godliness? Who needs us to show up for them? The challenge is clear - take these truths and put them into action through intentional relationships that draw us closer to God and each other.
