Name the Fear (Sermon)

Fear is one of the most universal human experiences and this message tackles it head-on with honesty and grace. We are invited into a real conversation about why fear takes hold of us, whether it is rooted in things we have witnessed, hard facts we are facing, or lies the enemy has whispered into our hearts over time. The central insight is powerful: fear thrives in darkness, but confession drags it into the light. Drawing on the image of turning on lights in a dark room, we are challenged to stop hiding our fears and start naming them, first before God, then before trusted people in our lives. Community becomes essential here, because healing is not just a private transaction. The message reminds us that we were created to be honest about our struggles, and that vulnerability is not weakness, it is the very doorway to freedom.
