Why You Still Feel Lonely Around People (Podcast)
What if the antidote to some of our deepest struggles has been sitting across a dinner table from us all along? This conversation digs into one of the most foundational truths of the Christian faith: we were never created to do life alone. From the very beginning in Genesis, isolation was identified as the first problem, even before sin entered the picture. That tells us something profound about how God designed us. Healing, transformation, and restoration do not happen in rows. They happen in circles. When we gather around tables with people who genuinely love God and love others, something shifts. Walls come down. Perspectives change. And suddenly the thing we thought only we were carrying turns out to be something others in the room know all too well. The enemy works hard to convince us that our struggles are unique to us, that we are the only ones. Godly community dismantles that lie. Drawing from Acts 2, we see that the early church did not just gather in one place to worship. They moved into each other's homes, broke bread together, and did life in close proximity. That two-part rhythm of corporate worship and intimate community was never meant to be separated. If we only have one piece of that, we are missing something significant. This is an invitation to step into the fuller picture of what following Jesus together actually looks like.
