Community

We're exploring the profound importance of intentional friendships in our spiritual journey. The message draws inspiration from Moses' relationships with Jethro and Joshua, emphasizing the need for three types of spiritual friendships: those who go before us as mentors, those who will go beyond us as our legacy, and those who walk beside us as encouragers. Just as Moses had Jethro to guide him and Joshua to mentor, we too need these intentional relationships to grow in our faith. The story of Moses illustrates how crucial it is to have wisdom from those who've walked the path before us, and to pour into those who will carry on after us. This multi-generational approach to faith community helps prevent the 'Joshua problem' where leadership and wisdom fail to be passed down effectively.
