Discipleship

We're exploring the concept of discipleship and how we may have overcomplicated it. Just as prayer is simply talking and listening to God, discipleship is about following Jesus and helping others do the same. The speaker uses a powerful analogy of NFL officials to illustrate our role as Christians. Like officials, we're called to help with the chaos in the world, not add to it. We've been given the rulebook (the Bible) and spent time with the Commissioner (God). Our job isn't to be popular, but to apply God's principles consistently, regardless of how others react. This challenges us to examine our lives: Are we truly walking out our faith in a way that others can see and follow?
