A Summer Bible Study for Women in Every Season of Life

Make room for what matters most. Maybe life has felt busy. Maybe your faith feels stretched thin. Maybe you’ve been carrying a lot and wondering where refreshment will come from.
This summer, you’re invited into a space where women gather to slow down, open God’s Word, pray together, laugh together, and rediscover the fullness of life found in Jesus.

Beginning July 8, you're invited to gather every Wednesday evening from 6:30–8:00PM at our South Campus location (10503 Slide Rd Lubbock TX 79424) in the Sanctuary for a relaxed and encouraging summer Bible study designed to help you grow deeper in faith, build meaningful friendships, and discover fresh purpose in God’s Word. Pastor Paige Allen will be teaching from material in her upcoming book, Matriarchs, releasing this August. This will be a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together in a welcoming environment. Summer is the perfect time to slow down, reset spiritually, and invest in community, so bring a few friends and join us for this special season together. Childcare for children 3 months - 5th grade is available with registration. We can’t wait to see you there!

FAQ

Is this Bible study beginner-friendly?

Absolutely. Many women join feeling unsure or intimidated at first. This study is designed to be welcoming, practical, and encouraging no matter where you are in your faith journey.

Is this study free?

This study is free to attend! We will be selling Pastor Paiges new book, Matriarchs, for $15. This will be the book we will be studying over the month of July.

What should I bring?

We encourage you to bring a journal, pen/pencil, a light jacket, your favorite drink, and your Bible! Many of our women love to bring highlighters, pens, and colored pencils to make it fun!

How long is the study?

We will study for 30-45 minutes and have 10-15 minutes for discussion and reflection at the end of each session and/or ministry time. So in total it will last about an hour.

Is childcare available?

Yes! We have childcare available for littles ages 3 months - 5th grade. You can tap here to register for childcare.
Note: You only need to register your child once. It will cover all 4 weeks of this Bible study.

Will there be small groups or table discussions?

Yes! We will have a time to study and about 10-15 minutes for discussion and reflection at the end with the ladies around you.

Can I invite a friend?

Of course! We encourage you to bring your friends, daughters, co-workers, table group buddies, or sisters!

Can I join after the study has already started?

Yes, that is absolutely okay if you join after the study has already started. The lessons will be stand alone lessons.

Will there be livestreams or Zoom sessions?

We will be livestreaming each week on our COTR People app and on Youtube!

Is the building accessible?

Yes! Our South Campus has handicapped parking and seating. We have stairs with handrails and also ramps that leads to our sanctuary. If you park in the back parking lot (by our kids playground) you can get a handicapped parking spot and not have to use any stairs or ramps. We also have accessible restrooms. Will I have to talk in front of everyone?

No, you are not required to talk in front of anyone. We would love to hear your thoughts on the study, but if you want to just listen you are more than welcome to do that!
