When God Moves Us to Maturity

In our spiritual journey, a key lesson is learning to live in a state of holy flexibility—being adaptable in God's hands. This isn't instability, but secure surrender to His control. Growth often comes through challenges that demand obedience and openness to divine direction.

Jeremiah 48 warns of Moab’s complacency, comparing it to wine left undisturbed—never poured, never refined. Likewise, we must be willing to move, change, and let God discard the “sediment” in our lives that hinders our purpose. Embracing change, even when uncomfortable, is part of God’s refining process.

Recognizing signs of stagnation—frustration, restlessness, or feeling outdated—can be divine prompts to realign with God’s plans. When we stay receptive to His voice and wise counsel, we grow into the leaders He’s shaping us to be.
