FAQ

What should I wear?
Come as you are—we mean it! At our Easter service, you'll see a little bit of everything. Some folks love to dress up for the occasion in their Sunday best—dresses, suits, or bright spring colors—while others feel most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. Both are totally welcome.

Easter is a joyful and meaningful day, so whether you like to celebrate by dressing up or just want to show up as you are, you're invited and accepted. The most important thing is that you're here—not what you're wearing.
Where do my kids go?
We have services for your kids!
  • Stop by our Kid's check-in for your little ones, ages 3 months through Kindergarten.
  • For our elementary school students, we have classes that are created specifically for them to connect with friends, have fun, worship, and grow deeper in their faith.
  • There will NOT be any YTH classes for Easter. Middle school and high school students will be sitting with you during service this Easter. We do normally offer YTH service for our middle school and high school students on Sundays. We encourage you to come back so your kiddos can try out our amazing YTH classes!

If you are new to Church on the Rock, we highly encourage you to pre-register your kiddos! You can click here and fill it out.
How long is the service?
Each service will be about 70 minutes. It will include worship, a message, and time for prayer.

Pro-tip: This day is usually very busy and crowded, so we encourage you to get here early to find a good parking spot, enjoy some coffee, and check your kids in COTR Kids!
What time should I get there?
We recommend arriving about 20 minutes early. This gives you plenty of time to find a good parking spot, grab a cup of coffee or hot tea, and settle in before the worship experience begins. It’s a great way to meet a few people and not feel rushed as the service starts!
Where do I park?
We have parking lots available at all four of our campuses, so you’ll definitely have a place to park! That said, Easter tends to bring in a lot of guests, so we recommend arriving a little early—parking lots can fill up quickly.

If you’re attending our South Campus or Dream Center Campus, we’ve got you covered! Our friendly Parking Lot Ministry Team drive golf carts around to help shuttle guests from the farther spots, so you won’t have to walk too far. Just look for one of our volunteers in yellow vests and they’ll be happy to help!
What style of worship can I expect?
Our worship style is contemporary, passionate, and centered on encountering Jesus. You can expect modern worship music led by a live band, with a focus on praise, heartfelt worship, and creating space for the Holy Spirit to move.

Everyone worships a little differently—some may lift their hands, jump with joy, or sing at the top of their lungs, while others may quietly reflect with eyes closed. There's freedom to express your love for Jesus in the way that feels most natural to you. Our hope is that you’ll not just attend a service, but truly experience God’s presence.
What are the safety measures in place?
Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we want you to feel completely at ease when you visit. Each of our campuses has trained security officers on-site during services to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Our facilities are cleaned and maintained regularly to ensure a healthy space for everyone.

Additionally, every volunteer who serves—whether they’re greeting you at the door, helping with kids, or guiding you to a seat—has gone through a thorough background check. This is especially important in our kids and student areas, where we have check-in and check-out systems in place for added peace of mind.
Can I bring friends or family?
Absolutely—everyone is welcome! Easter is a perfect time to invite friends, family members, neighbors, or coworkers to experience the hope and joy of the resurrection of Jesus. Whether they’ve been to church before or it’s their very first time, we’d love for them to join you.

Our services are designed to be engaging, meaningful, and accessible to all, no matter where someone is on their faith journey. So don’t hesitate to extend the invite—there’s a seat for everyone!
How can I stay connected with the church after Easter?
We’d love to stay in touch with you! You can follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) or download our COTRPeople app to stay updated on upcoming events, service times, and more.

If this is your first time visiting Church on the Rock, welcome!! We want to meet you and pray for you. You can fill out this first time guest form and someone from our team will reach out to youl
Is the service livestreamed?
Our 10:20am service on Sunday will be live streamed. If you can't make it in person we highly encourage you to tune in online! You can watch it on our COTRPeople app or on Youtube!
Is COTR Accessible?

Our facilities include accessible parking spaces, wheelchair ramps, and seating areas designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs.
