FOCUS OF THE DAY: ALL - God wants and deserves our everything.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: God LISTENS - Our God is full of mercy and never distracted. Who are we that He bends low to listen to our hearts' cries? There is no one like our God.

I love the Lord because He has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because He inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call on Him as long as I live.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: FIRST - God has always loved us first. He is the definition of LOVE.

1 John 4:19 (NLT)
We love because He first loved us.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: OBEY - Our response to God's love is to trust & obey Him.

If you love Me, obey My commandments.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: GOD DELIVERS - Our Deliverer is strong and fully capable. We can rest in God as refuge today.

I love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: TRUST - God is wholly trustworthy. He is the only One who will never disappoint.

You love Him even though you have never seen Him. Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: FOUNDATION -Loving God is the foundation for our lives. It is the greatest opportunity of our lives...and the greatest adventure!

You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: REFLECTION -Our love for one another is the mark of being fully HIS. Other people notice we belong to Jesus when we love one another well and we reflect Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: SEE THE ONE -The kind things we are willing to do for the least of these - those who are often overlooked - is the same as doing those kind things to Jesus.

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?  Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
 
“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,  you were doing it to me!’

FOCUS OF THE DAY: WHAT IS GOOD IN GOD'S EYES? - To act justly, love mercy, & walk humbly with our God.

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: KIND - Who we choose to protect matters to God.

God always blesses those who are kind to the poor and helpless. They are the first ones God helps when they find themselves in any trouble.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: HONOR - Lord help us to honor one another.

SCRIPTURE:
Romans 12:10 (NLT)
Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: FORGIVING - We can release others into God's capable hands.

Instead be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: UNITY - God blesses and delights when we walk in unity.

when brothers dwell in unity!  
It is like the precious oil on the head,
    running down on the beard,
on the beard of Aaron,
    running down on the collar of his robes!
It is like the dew of Hermon,

    life forevermore.  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: YOU ARE COMMISSIONED - God has given every believer the purpose to go and make His name known.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: SAY YES - Recognize what God is asking of you today and quickly response - God bring out the best in us!

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.    

FOCUS OF THE DAY: SURRENDER - We choose to trust the plans of God.

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

FOCUS OF THE DAY: PARTNER WITH GOD - God works in us and through us and WITH us. Lean into His presence and power today.

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. 

FOCUS OF THE DAY: FOLLOW - Jesus is the best Leader.

Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: KEEP TRUSTING IN THE LORD - God can perfectly direct your life, wrapping you in His faithful love.

Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in YAHWEH, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!  

FOCUS OF THE DAY: IN CHRIST - We fulfill our purposes by walking and living in Christ.

It is in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
