Healing the Orphan Spirit #2: Change Your Chair
We explored the concept of living from different 'chairs' that represent our spiritual positioning. The first chair symbolizes living for the Kingdom of God, rooted in love, presence, and rest. It's about receiving the Father's love and living open-handed, allowing His love to flow through us. The second chair represents living for self, rooted in fear, performance, and restlessness. This chair leads to control, insecurity, and a constant need for approval. We're challenged to examine which chair we're sitting in and to move towards chair one, embracing our identity as sons and daughters of God. The parable of the Prodigal Son is referenced, reminding us of God's unconditional love and our need to return to Him. This message encourages us to seek first the Kingdom of God, abandoning ourselves to His presence and finding true rest in Him.
