Now that Lubbock is a Sanctuary City for the unborn, Church on the Rock wants to continue its stand for life. Adopt Lubbock was born with a desire to see children supported and cared for outside of the womb. Due to the rising costs of private adoption and the numerous hurdles within foster care, we want to come alongside families to support them financially, emotionally, and practically as they open their homes to children in need.

Ways to get involved

If you are a family who would like to open your home to a child in need through adoption, we would like to come alongside you as you go through your journey. Please click the link below so we can get to know you.

Care Teams

Join a Care Team that supports a family as they walk through the process of adoption by providing emotional and practical support throughout the adoption process. If you have previously adopted or just want to love on a family going through the process, we need you!

Many times finances are the barrier that keeps families from adopting. We want to see financial hindrances removed from the adoption process. Our goal is to help loving families afford adoptions through the generous giving of our community.

A Letter from Pastor Heath

Adopt Lubbock is a ministry that was birthed following the announcement that Lubbock is officially a Sanctuary City for the unborn. While we celebrated this victory, I believe that God gave our Church a word that we needed to “become a bridge” and begin to connect families that have a heart for adoption with mothers and children that are in situations where adoption is needed. Adopt Lubbock's heart is to partner with families as they walk out their adoption journey. We would consider it an honor to partner with you if this is something you feel led to do. Thank you!
